Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Ria Formosa, I found it to be a suitable option for those wanting a moment of calm, especially with its close proximity to Faro airport. The outdoor swimming pool offered a serene spot for unwinding, though I didn't get a chance to enjoy the sun loungers and umbrellas myself. I did indulge in the spa facilities, utilizing the sauna and hot tub. Just a heads-up - the sauna takes a bit of time to heat up, so prep accordingly. I also arranged for in-room massages, which were a highlight of my stay. The setting was peaceful, providing a reprieve from city life. The breakfast buffet had ample choices, and while I didn't have time to explore the patio or the local dining options, the staff were knowledgeable and offered solid recommendations. If your travels align with a need for relaxation, this guesthouse could serve as a practical getaway.
